I'd like to introduce you to a business concept I've been developing for the past three years.
The Concept
Imagine you need to meet with a prospect, client or business associate. Where do you usually go? If you're like most small businesspeople or independent salespeople, you meet at a coffee house or similar location because...well...you have nowhere else to go. I'm sure you'll agree, a coffee house is anything but ideal for a business meeting. It's noisy. It's not private. The wireless network either costs extra or is overcrowded. There are no business services (like printers and copiers). In short: it's not a professional atmosphere.
What if you had access to a private, members-only location with all the basic tools you need to have a professional meeting with a client? A clean, quiet, business atmosphere with access to fast internet. An electrical outlet for your laptop right at your table? Phones, fax, copy machine, printer, and an office supply store? Plus, private rooms, conference rooms and presentation rooms available at a deep discount for members? What if I told you that you could access this facility whenever you want, as much as you want, for as little as $50 a month? Now imagine affiliated locations all over North America that you can use when you travel for that same $50 a month...

This is my vision for The Biz Venue.
As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I "feel your pain." I totally get it. Most businesses are too small to have sufficient professional office space for meetings, or they work from home and don't want people traipsing through their house. Some of us can't afford or don't want the overhead of an office. Heck, some of us even want to work from home. And if we're on the road, we want to know there is a professional, affordable meeting space nearby.
The Plan
Our plan is to open our first Venue in the Olympia area sometime during 2010. While we are still working on the details, we've decided to take the first step and create the online, business networking entity for the Venue RIGHT NOW! This way, we can develop an online community interested in our style of business networking, get feedback on exactly how people will use The Venue facilities, and build our potential member base in the process. It will also prove to potential investors that there is a ready and willing audience for our concept.

We're creating The Venue Online for anyone in interested in building their business network. We will also be able to organize and run real, physical events at members' businesses.

Network Marketers are Welcome - We allow MLM distributors (i.e., network marketers) to join and participate, both online and at our events. However, no recruiting is allowed. We will delete the accounts of anyone about whom we receive more than one complaint concerning recruiting on our website or at our events.
